Sage ACT! Certified Consultant: Web and Sync Services
The second in a series of two courses that prepares you for the ACT! Certified Consultant Final Assessment, this course covers the fundamentals of installing, configuring and supporting both Sage ACT! Premium (web client) and sync services. This course is designed for individuals that have completed the ACT! Certified Consultant Core course and assumes students have some experience using Sage ACT!, but not necessarily experience with advanced features of the product or administering it. Over the course of 2 days, you will learn more about installing and configuring Sage ACT! Premium (web client) and sync services by reading the course material, watching video instruction and performing hands-on exercises.
Course Pre-Requisites
Before participating in this course, it is expected that participants are:
- Familiar with the fundamental contact management features of ACT! by Sage, typically obtained by using the product for one year or more.
- Comfortable using Windows operating systems.
- Capable of performing basic network related tasks such as sharing folders and browsing a network and the Internet for available resources.
- Successful completion of the Sage ACT! Certified Consultant Core Course (or current ACT! Certified Consultant status).
Learning Objectives
After completing this course, participants will be able to:
- Confidently describe the features and benefits of Sage ACT! Premium (web client) to prospective clients.
- Select, deploy, and configure the most appropriate ACT! solution when faced with a various client requirements.
- Provide post installation, configuration, and administration of Sage ACT! Premium (web client) on the server and client machines.
- Install, configure and deploy the appropriate sync service for clients.
