Before You Attend Class
Realtime Training
Realtime Learning is led by an instructor and is delivered online utilizing Adobe® Acrobat® Connect™ Pro. To participate you need a computer with the proper software installed, a phone, and a high speed internet connection. Completing the following steps will help ensure that you are prepared to begin your Realtime Learning session on time and can maximize the full potential of your learning experience. We recommend completing these advance preparation steps at least one week prior to class.
Step 1. Add training.nonprofit@sage.com to your Safe Senders List to help ensure you receive important reminders and information about your class.
Step 2. Download, complete, and return the Sage Fundraising Checklist.
Step 3. Test your connection to Acrobat Connect Pro.

Step 4. Print the training materials. You will receive an email 6 calendar days and again 2 hours prior to your class. The email contains a link to download and print the training materials. Note: If you do not see the email in your Inbox, please check your Junk Email folder.
Step 5. Click My University 10 minutes before the start time to access your course registrations and join the class.

Classroom Training
Review the course description and prerequisites. Some courses require either attendance in another course or a pre-test before your registration can be confirmed.
Make hotel reservations and travel arrangements. Links to information on locations, hotels, start and end times, and more are available with the course description and will also be sent to you in your confirmation e-mail when you register for the course. It is recommended to purchase refundable and changeable airline tickets, hotel reservations, and rental car reservations.
Check the local weather. Dress code for classroom training is generally business casual. Some of the classrooms may be slightly cooler than normal room temperature to keep the equipment running efficiently, so you may want to bring a sweater or light jacket.

Anytime Learning
Before you purchase an Anytime Learning session, make sure your computer meets the following requirements:
Audio output (headphones or external speakers)
High-speed Internet access (dial-up will not work)
Monitor screen resolution 800x600 px or higher
Review the Anytime Learning Orientation Guide (PDF) to maximize the full potential of your learning experience. The guide will ensure that you have can access the Anytime Learning session and navigate the browser player menu.
